I planted the Laredo soybeans on 19" spacing with a conventional planter in 2011. They held up well under drought conditions and I had a great deal of volunteer plants in 2012. The black seed coat protects the seed from rotting and these beans remind me a lot of partridge pea in their drought tolerance and hardiness. An excellent choice for deer and quail in my opinion.
